International Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience in Africa

Held under the theme “Scaling Proactive Governance and Strategic Investment for Disaster Risk Reduction and a Resilient Africa,” the Conference will focus on accelerating the implementation of disaster risk reduction commitments by strengthening risk governance, mobilising investment in resilience, enhancing multi-hazard early warning systems and anticipatory action, and promoting risk-informed development across Africa. The programme will include a high-level opening ceremony, technical experts' meeting, donor roundtable and ministerial segment.
